Drake Bell Streams on Twitch

Drake Bell Streams On Twitch

Drake Bell former TV star of Drake & Josh started streaming on Twitch during a sold out concert at the Blue Moose Tap House in Iowa.  He was sponsored by UnlimitedIRL who helped provide a livestreaming backpack and camera to record his live performance.

During the performance he let one lucky fan in the front row borrow his livestreaming setup and record the show.  This allowed Twitch viewers to experience the show live with the perspective of being there.

Drake & Josh Theme Song

For the final song of the show Drake Bell played a fan favorite “I Found A Way”.  This is the theme song for Drake & Josh that aired on Nickelodean from 2004 – 2007.  Bell composed the original song and it featured on his debut album Telegraph.

As the show wrapped up, Bell exits the stage to the roars of the crowd.  The first-person perspective of the camera offers viewers a unique glimpse into the life of a celebrity.  One of the major draws of “In Real Life” or “IRL” streaming is how connected the viewers are with the streamer.  In Bell’s case, viewers experience the transition of hearing loud cheers from the audience after an exciting performance to an empty room inside a bar.

Celebrities on Twitch

Drake Bell is not the first celebrity to stream on Twitch.  In March 2018, Canadian rapper Drake played Fortnite with Ninja.  More than 600,000 viewers tuned in to this live broadcast.  Similarly Post Malone has streamed on Twitch in the past.  He’s played Call of Duty and PUBG.  This reveals Twitch as a popular platform for celebrities to connect with their fans.

Hopefully Drake Bell continues to find a way to stream on Twitch.  You can watch his stream and follow his Twitter for updates.
